Use this editor to create reference sensitive graphics, by defining areas within frames and graphics where actions are initiated after clicking them.</help:help-text></help:to-be-embedded></p>
<p class="Paragraph">A <help:popup Id="65629" Eid="url" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">URL</help:popup> can be defined for each area of the frame or graphics, which when clicked loads the <help:popup Id="65629" Eid="imagemap" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">ImageMap</help:popup> of this area. Give the area a name which is displayed later in a tip window as soon as the cursor rests on the area. You can then decide if the newly loaded URL is to be displayed in its own window, in the same window or in a specific frame. Areas can overlap, and the last defined area takes precedence where they overlap.</p>
<p class="Paragraph">Regarding the links, you can choose whether to refer to Internet sites, or references in the current document or another document in the file system.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Every time you type a new entry or modify an existing entry in the ImageMap Editor, click this icon to assign the current modifications.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click here to open an ImageMap file in <span class="T1">MAP-CERN, MAP-NCSA</span> or <span class="T1">SIP StarView ImageMap </span><help:link Id="65629" Eid="imagemapformate">file type</help:link>.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Saves the ImageMap in one of the following <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/><help:link Id="65629" Eid="imagemapformate">file types</help:link>:<span class="T1"> MAP-CERN, MAP-NCSA</span> or <span class="T1">SIP StarView ImageMap</span>.</help:help-text> The dialog for saving files is displayed.</p>

<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click the <span class="T1">Rectangle</span> icon to define a rectangular area.</help:help-text> A small rectangle appears next to the cross-hairs on the cursor and you can drag out a rectangle. Hold down the mouse button while dragging to create a square. In the <span class="T1">Address, Text</span> and <span class="T1">Frame</span> fields, you can type appropriate entries for this section after releasing the mouse button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click the <span class="T1">Ellipse</span> icon to define a rounded area.</help:help-text> The cursor has a small circle near the cross-hair that enables you to drag an ellipse. Hold down the mouse button to drag a circle. In the <span class="T1">Address, Text</span> and <span class="T1">Frame</span> fields, you can type the appropriate entries for this section after releasing the mouse button.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click the <span class="T1">Polygon</span> icon to define a freeform area.</help:help-text> <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>The cursor has a small scribble line <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>near the gridlock that enables you to define a polygon. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Click any point of the scribble line that you want to define. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Double click it at the beginning to close the <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>line. To limit the angle to 45 degrees, hold down the Shift key while you draw. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>In the <span class="T1"><text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Address, Text</span> and <span class="T1">Floating Frame</span> fields, you can type the respective entries for this area.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click the Freeform Polygon icon to define a freeform area.</help:help-text> The cursor will turn to a small gridlock and next to it you will see a small free hand line that enables you to define a <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>free hand polygon. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Click at the beginning of the line and draw the area you want to define while holding down the mouse button. When you release the mouse button, the polygon will close itself.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click on Edit Points to display the individual points of a Bezier curve.</help:help-text> This enables you to edit the points of the curve with your mouse.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click here to move the individual points of a polygon.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click this icon to insert additional points.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click this icon to switch the currently selected area of the ImageMap from active to inactive.</help:help-text> Use this property to update an existing ImageMap graphic. If the address of an ImageMap frame no longer exists, set the corresponding frame to inactive and thus avoid creating a new graphic. An inactive frame is transparent.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click this icon to open the <span class="T1">Assign Macro</span> dialog, which is similar to the normal <help:link Id="67665">Macro</help:link> dialog.</help:help-text> This dialog enables you to assign a macro to the ImageMap.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Click this button to open the <help:link Id="65880">Description</help:link> dialog, where you can define the URL, alternative text, floating frames and names.</help:help-text></p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">Select the URL (or the local file) to be loaded if you click <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>the defined area of the ImageMap.</help:help-text> References within the document will be annexed according to the URL <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>Notations. <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>For example, if you want to jump to the Anchor "Here" (which you have set via <text:s text:c="" xmlns:text="http://openoffice.org/2000/text"/>menu <span class="T1">Insert- Fields-Other-References-Set References</span>) liocated in the document C:\Docs\Test.sdw the address is: file:///C|/Docs/Test.sdw#Here.</p>
<p class="Paragraph"><help:help-text value="visible" xmlns:help="http://openoffice.org/2000/help">The text you enter here will be displayed when the mouse passes over the graphic area.</help:help-text>If you do not enter any text, the <span class="T1">Address </span>will appear. This text is similar to the <span class="T1">Alternative Text</span> field in the <span class="T1">Description </span>dialog.</p>
